The Old School Hall Management Committee manages a community centre comprising a large hall, large meeting room, kitchen, entrance lobby and toilets.  In 2009 an annex incorporating infants toilets was added.  The premises are available for hire to any not for profit community group.  When not required by not for profit groups the facilities may be hired by commercial organisations and individuals. 

Vacant Trustee Roles at OSH

The Old School Hall Management Committee, a registered Charity, is responsible for the upkeep and running of The Old School Community Centre, which is leased from the Winterton Town Council.
The Management Committee consisting of trustees who are all volunteers, we have vacant trustee roles, the charity needs a treasurer, a person who can help deal with the general finance running of the charity, including sending out monthly invoices checking payments to suppliers, etc. Other trustee roles include a secretary who would be responsible for arranging user group meetings, trustee meetings and the AGM. The secretary would be responsible for producing the agendas and taking minutes etc.
Additional roles include event planning, social media officer and health and safety office.
Trustees do not have any financial commitment the only commitment is time and to make The Old School Hall the best Community Centre it can be.

Our regular user groups

Winterton & District Gardening Club held its first meeting in September 1996.  The club meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7.30 p.m. from September to June. 

We are a small group of local volunteers that work together with the community to make a difference. Our motto is WE SERVE.

The Winterton Lions meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 07:30 P.M.

Panda Play is a nurturing home from home playgroup, welcoming all children aged 2 to 4 years. We are OFSTED regulated and have provided flexible affordable childcare to the community for over 25 years. Our dedicated Early Years Practitioners promote and support the learning, development and wellbeing of children in a safe and stimulating environment, with the emphasis on play! A culture of mutual respect and ‘parents as partners’ is fostered as part of our ethos, hence our motto
